I always wanted to posses a notebook which comes with a very light weight but equipped with all the modern features of a notebook computer while being affordable. As I have to travel a lot, a light-weighted notebook will be the ideal companion of my works. Then one of my friends informed me about the Asus Eee PC 900. I visited to the store and see all the models of the Asus Eee PC 900, finally I choose the pearl white coloured edition, because it seems to me very gorgeous. Its price also was very affordable to me.

The notebook helps me a lot in my personal works such as music and movie entertainment, chatting and sending e-mails etc. It also performs well in my office works. Its larger screen helps me to operate the machine with a ease. The screen offers me a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels which gives a feeling of using a normal expensive Laptop. For this amazing resolution I can browse the Internet smoothly and I don’t have to worry about keeping my icons on the desktop. Its touch pad is larger as well. The touchpad gives me the facility of handful of gesture control, for which I feels of using a MacBook.

I have to do lots of my office work in my notebook. The Asus eee PC helps me a lot in that. I can easily make my Microsoft Office documents, Excel sheets, power-point presentation in this notebook. But sometimes, I do have the need to prepare some design in Adobe PhotoShop software. Then it doesn’t provide me good performance. I have also used the Lenovo IdeaPad U110 and the HP 2133 Mini-Note notebooks. These are almost same as the Asus eee PC, but their performance is far better than the eee PC. The Lenovo and HP notebooks take much shorter time to process a image data or to convert a image in the PhotoShop software. On the other hand, when I encode my music files for my iPod, the Asus eee PC then shows a better performance than the HP 2133 Mini-Note. But I have seen that the Lenovo IdeaPad U110 gives a higher performance than my Asus eee PC.

My Asus eee PC’s keyboard with UMPC-sized keys offers me a smooth typing facility. The notebook comes with only 12 GB of hard drive, in which 4 GB is on the motherboard, and the rest 8 GB SSD chip under a user accessible panel on the bottom of the system. This low hard-disc is just nothing to save my office works, music tracks or other files. But its SD card slot helps me a lot. By this card card slot I got the option to expand the memory.

I am just grateful to its embedded Card Reader device. By using this device I can read my very useful Multimedia Card, SDHC Memory Card and SD Memory Card with a great sophistication and ease. In addition, by its built-in 1.3 mega pixels camera I can easily chat with my friends and family when I stays abroad.

Though it doesn’t provide a big hard-drive, quick processing in while processing highly capable software and some of the other necessary equipments, then also it is a perfect affordable notebook for your primary usage.
